Norwich, CT’s St. Patrick’s Day parade dates back over 50 years and is sponsored by the Norwich Hibernian Association

When:

The St. Patrick's Day Parade should be held on Sunday, March 17, 2024, starting at 1 pm. See the parade's website here for the latest updates.

Where:

The Norwich, CT St. Patrick's Day parade route starts in front of Otis Library on Main Street. The route continues down Franklin Street, passing by Epicure Brewing, Foundry 66, and These Guys Brewing. The parade then turns left onto Willow Street, then left onto Chestnut Street, passing by the Chestnut Street Playhouse. The parade continues past Bath Street, onto lower Broadway, and ends on Main Street, turning off by the roundabout.

What to bring

If it is a cold day, bring a warm hat, warm gloves, and warm shoes. For a sunny day, you’ll want to bring sunglasses, suntan lotion, and a hat. The parade goes on rain, shine or snow. And of course, it is traditional to be dressed in GREEN (or orange or white – colors of the Irish flag)!

Transportation and Parking

Mass transit is a great way to get in and out to see the parade.
